About the Author: Karl Hempel, M.D.
Karl F. Hempel, M.D. is a board certified family medicine physician who has been in private practice since 1980 in Tallahassee, Florida. He attended the University of Kentucky to obtain both his undergraduate and medical degrees. After graduating medical school in 1977, he completed his family practice residency at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hempel is president of Tallahassee Primary Care Associates, a medical group practice consisting of 55 providers including 35 physicians and over 300 employees He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice.
