We would like to welcome Susan M. Alvarez, ARNP, DNP, to the TPCA Family! Susan is the newest member of Rheumatologist Dr. Pooja Patel’s medical staff and has been a practicing nurse for over 4 years. She obtained her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida. She also brings unique experience in oncology.
Susan is very excited to be a part Dr. Patel’s staff as she looks forward to pursuing a field that affects so many patients and touches upon multiple systems of the body. She is a strong advocate for compassionate care and places a big focus on evidence based medicine and treating the whole patient.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, attending church and being outdoors.
