We are excited to welcome Inez H. Nichols, APRN, DNP, FNP-C, CRNI, VA-BC! Inez is the newest member of the medical staff of Dr. Shearer, TPCA Family Medicine Physician.
Inez has more than 30 years of experience in nursing and is currently licensed in Florida and Georgia. Inez is also a Registered Nurse of Infusion and Vascular Access Board Certified. Some of her professional contributions include active work within professional nursing organizations, particularly the Infusion Nurses Society. She is a national speaker on the use of ultrasound and micro-introducer technique for adult and pediatric PICC placement procedures.
Inez completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Florida and has past work experience in acute care, primary care and occupational healthcare, as well as, incorporating patient and nursing education related to infusion therapy.
During her spare time, she enjoys canoeing, fishing and visiting with the cattle on her and her husband’s farm.
