COVID-19 Vaccine – Effective 12/24/20

Dear Patients,

The first vaccines have arrived in Leon County, however the numbers are small considering all that need the vaccine.  We will be distributing the vaccine according to priorities set by CDC and Florida’s Governor, beginning with TPCA medical staff and TPCA frontline workers in the first phase.

We do not anticipate having vaccines that we can provide to patients this week and it is unlikely we will have vaccines for patients before the end of the year.  We (not only TPCA but the entire medical community of Leon County) are working diligently to be ready to open up vaccination for our most vulnerable patients as soon as we possibly can.  Please wait patiently for messages from TPCA. We will update this statement via portal messages going directly to our patients through Follow My Health and we will place updates on our website, Facebook, Instagram, email blasts and text messages.  For the most up-to-date information we recommend you sign up for a portal account as soon as possible. Please reach out to your provider’s office for information on how to register.

We ask for your patience as everyone is working as quickly and safely as possible to stop this virus.  Our Primary Care is You.

Thank you,

Tallahassee Primary Care Associates
