We would like to welcome Rebekah A. Steverson, MD, FAAP, to our team of pediatricians! She is the newest member of our Tallahassee Pediatrics provider staff.
Dr. Steverson is board-certified in Pediatrics. She obtained her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama and completed her residency at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Steverson believes that pediatrics is the epitome of preventative medicine and it is the perfect opportunity to help teach patients healthy lifestyle habits and prevent them from developing avoidable diseases.
As a primary care provider, one thing that sets Dr. Steverson apart is her passion for prevention and desire to teach families good nutrition in an affordable way. She always tries to keep in mind when talking with patients and parents is what has been helpful to her, both as the patient and as the parent. She says she never wants to forget the humanity of practicing medicine.
Dr. Steverson is married to her incredible husband, Drew, and they have two sweet little boys. When she is not seeing patients, she loves spending time outside with her family. They enjoy going on walks or runs, and are trying their hand at growing a vegetable garden this year!
