We would like to welcome Mig Cuervo, ARNP, DNP, to theTPCA family! Mig is the newest member of the medical staff of Dr. Madhuri Sankuratri, Infectious Disease Specialist, of TPCA. She obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from the Florida State University and for many years has participated in several clinical rotations throughout the Florida panhandle area.
Throughout her progression of studies in the area of Infectious Disease, Mig has become increasingly fascinated with how pathogens are able to establish infections despite the best efforts of the immune system and modern medicine. With this in mind, she finds it extremely important to focus on the individual.
Mig strives to provide the best patient-centered care by being a good listener, focusing on prevention and education and maintaining a positive attitude while giving her patients the personal attention they merit. Because of their shared values, Mig is very excited to be a part of Dr. Sankuratri’s team.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, spending time with her spouse, traveling and teaching Epidemiology at FSU College of Nursing.
Welcome to TPCA, Mig!
